13th Annual Community Recognition Awards

This year marks the 13th year Wood WORKS! BC will recognize and celebrate the successes of communities across the province which have built projects using wood.

The nomination form for the 2017 Community Recognition Awards is available online HERE. If you know of a wood structure that was completed by a local government in the last three years, please consider nominating it – it will only take 5 minutes!

The process is really simple.  Just download the nomination form and follow the instructions to enter the project by the nomination deadline of September 1.  That’s it!

The 2017 Wood WORKS! BC Community Recognition Awards will be presented at the annual Area Association Luncheons at the 2017 UBCM convention in Vancouver from September 25-29.

More than 400 distinguished design and building professionals gathered for the 13th annual event at the Vancouver Convention Centre (West), including architects, structural engineers, project teams, local government, industry sponsors and guests.
